Day 83 - Bandanna Head

This bandanna has been on a stuffed animal for a couple of years, until today. I had let Abby play with the stuffed animal for a while and decided I wanted to see how the bandanna would look on her head... so cute!!!

Day 82 - Electrocution Baby

Abby's hair is so wild. I've been getting a lot of comments lately on how crazy her hair is. I've been so surprised by how fast it is growing. I think she must get this from her Fathers side of the family.

Day 81 - Uh Oh Spaghetti

Today Abby went to the Woffinden's to hang out while I went to go see Alice In Wonderland. After my movie, dropped next door to a new place called Pizza Balls. I had taken a picture of their menu and planned to talk it up today, but there was an epic event. For dinner tonight I made spaghetti, and I made the crazy mistake of walking away from my bowl with Abby nearby.

Day 80 - Stair Stepper

Yep, it's official! Abby can climb up steps. Yes, I know yesterdays pictures showed how obvious this was, but here are some actual normal steps and she just headed right for them. She is still working on down. She gets a little nervous when she turns around and thinks she can't get down.

Day 79 - Park Adventure

Today we went down to the park.... a more common occurrence this week and I'm sure for the coming weeks. I've taken Abby down the slide a few times before today, but this time I let her explore on her own a little. She is able to negotiate herself up the steps she on in the photo (something she learned this week while our futon mattress was on the floor). Today there were a few other people around... mostly she was entertained watching them.

Day 78 - Sippy Cup

Today I decided that it's time that Abby starts using her sippy cup at meal times. She knows how to drink from it already, but I don't usually give it to her because I forget. In actuality, she doesn't really care about it, but I'm sure as time passes, she will begin to like it more and more.

Day 77 - New Growth

This is a pic of the tree outside my front door. I'm so excited to see little buds forming on all the branches in anticipation of spring! For about a week now, I've been thinking about coming outside and snapping a shot, but kept forgetting until today.

Day 76 - Still Hungry

The other day Abby leaned over and started licking her tray. I thought it was hilarious. Today I was able to catch her in the act. It just cracks me up. In this pic, she is diving for strawberry pieces.

Day 75 - Walking Abby

Some friends gave me the idea of walking with Abby up and down the sidewalk and practicing walking with one hand. So today, we went outside to try it out. Abby is not a fan right now of the one handed assist. It makes her nervous, so she doesn't like to take any steps.

Day 74 - Swingin

Unfortunately this was not Abby's first time in a swing.... I had forgotten the camera two days before. So, I brought her back to the park today so I could catch some shots of her big smiles while she flew through the air. This is a great pic of her two little bottom teeth too! Just so darn cute!!

Day 73 - Product

Abby's hair is getting longer and longer. I've had a few friends suggest that I put some product in her hair and style it a bit. I've thought it a great idea, I have just forgotten... till today! I think it is crazy how much her hair looks like mine when it's short and styled. Love this photo!

Day 72 - Conversion Anniversary

Today is the 11th Anniversary of being baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This is one of the greatest things I have ever done. I think the words of the Book of Mormon prophet Nephi explains it all. “Hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, . . . and they teach all men that they should do good. And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with power and great glory, that they are his words, at the last day.

Day 71 - Honesty

Well... I am sad to say that this picture was not taken on day 71. This was the first time I forgot to snap a shot on one of the passing days. I got up around 230 on day 72 and snapped this pic. I was explaining to my husband how I had forgotten and what I had done. He suggested that I snap a photo of something that I did during day 71... so, this happen to cover that. I went to Goodwill today and found these really cool picture frames.

Day 70 - Progress or Not

So.. my tulips turned out not to be tulips! I was a bit disappointed by that. While I was away visiting Steve, I forgot to have my cat sitter water the plants. My flowers are doing ok, but I've been neglecting them a little since I've been home. I need to trim them up and clean up the rocks and water. There are still sprouts shooting up, so that's pretty cool.

Day 69 - Great American Classic

Tonight I went over to In 'n' Out Burger for dinner. Abby and I sat down in front of the tv tonight and ate some burger and fries... Yum! She really enjoyed the french fries!

Day 68 - Color Scheme

I love bright and bold colors. Lots of them together. It attracts my attention like nothing else. Last night I had washed these stack toys of Abby's and left them to dry in the sink. I just love how colorful this is contrasted with the white.

Day 67 - Sunrise

I was up a little early this morning, so I thought I would go outside and snap a few photo's of today's sunrise. I really enjoy watching the sun come up, and go down for that matter. Since Abby has come along, I haven't seen many ups or downs of the sun. I've missed it.

Day 66 - Sock Eater

Ever wonder where all your socks go? I have the answer to this age old question! Abby ate them. Ok, not really. Lately, she has taken a liking to playing with socks. She chews on them, she throws them, she studies them. It's pretty cute to see her pick one up, place it in her mouth and then crawl across the room to something else she finds fascinating with it dangling on her chin. Only drawback.... when I pick them up to toss them in the laundry, they are sopping wet. Ick!

Day 65 - My Clingy Monkey

Abby is sick. She has been running a low-grade fever since yesterday afternoon. That's not her only symptom, but it's the one that worries me the most. Yesterday and today she woke up from her afternoon naps clingy and tired, just laying on me for an hour or so. Definitely not my normal rambunctious mooncheeks. I took her to urgent care, but her temp was so low, the doctor made me feel like I was over reacting and wasting his time. This evening, she has a higher temp. We might have to go to the ER later. I hope not.

Day 64 - 9 Month Old Abigail

Today I took Abby's 9 month pics. This is a return to the blue blanket as a backdrop... it looks so darn nice, especially with pink! I got a couple of good photo's today... even a few of us together. It's getting harder and harder to get these shots since she is on the go. Though, adding the table so she could stand was good... it kept her in one spot for a while, plus... standing is a part of who she is.

Day 63 - Hello There

Abby is literally trying to climb the walls. She uses anything she can get a grasp on to pull herself up. She likes to hang out by the end table where the doorway from the living room and dining room is. Today, she was peeking around the corner at me and I thought it was way cute, so I snapped a couple of shots.

Day 62 - Cat Pose

Well, it was the end of the day and I hadn't taken a picture yet. So, I snapped a shot of the cat. Sometimes I feel like I'm not really living up to the expectations that I have for this blog. I think I am hoping for more variety, but I'm not getting out much. I need to start taking more advantage of other opportunities.

Day 61 - Babywearing

I've started wearing my baby again. I feel like it's a good opportunity for Abby to get some momma time while I get a few things done around the house. It's seems that I am constantly trying to keep her entertained so I can finish things that I feel like I "need" to do. Really, what I "need" to be doing, is hanging out with my little girl... isn't that why we stay home with our kids?

Day 60 - Good Friends

Jennifer and Bailey dropped by today. It's always nice when friends drop by randomly. I know some people are not into that kind of thing... I love it! I was having a hard time getting Bailey to look at the camera instead of watching Abby. She finally looked up long enough, but she happened to be pointing right to me. Well, other than that, I think it's a great picture!

Day 59 - My Most Favoirte Tree

This is a Globe Willow. It is just down the street from my house. This particular tree is my most favorite on the planet. And I don't mean this kind of tree... I mean this specific tree at the end of the road. If I could buy the property that this tree goes along with, I would... just so I could say that this tree is mine. I will take some more pictures of it throughout the year.

Day 58 - No Likey

Abby is getting proficient at showing her frustration. In this case, it relates to me feeding her something she doesn't want to eat. Not something that happens all that often. I think she is a pretty good eater, but she is getting to the point where she does not prefer the baby food "meals" such as lasagne or chicken vegetables and stars, stuff like that. She does really well with eating things a mash up from whatever I'm eating. I think she knows the difference between the good stuff and the lame stuff. She still does really well with jarred veggies and fruits.
