Day 311 - Hi Bailey

This young lady has such an infectious smile! She is such a happy little girl and whenever she's around, you can't help but be giggly right along with her. Thanks Bailey for making us happy!

Day 310 - Birthdays

Today we celebrated our friend Simon's second birthday. We had a fun time hanging out with Simon and his Momma and a few friends.

Obviously you've noticed that there are two photo's today. Abby turned 17 months old yesterday but I forgot to take her out for pictures. So we went down to a park and snapped some shots. We also happened to run into Grandma Sally while she was out walking her dog.

Day 309 - Glowing Green

Sometimes I find it frustrating that the flash always makes Allie's eyes glow, but this shot looks pretty cool. Tonight was another one of those last minute shots where I almost forgot to take a picture.

Day 308 - Size 8 1/2 Shoe

Abby is a shoe fanatic! She spends 30 to 60 minutes a day putting on and taking off shoes. Doesn't matter what shoes either... hers or mine or whom ever shoes are around.

Day 306 - Get Out the Vote

Abby and I went down to our local voting area today. We went pretty early so we wouldn't have to stand in line too long. We didn't have to wait at all which was nice, but Abby got bored quick because I was taking longer than she liked. I'm so glad to have the opportunity to vote.

Day 305 - My Little Collector

Abby has a very cute habit of collecting things. One of those things is socks... she LOVES to collect socks. Today I had some clean laundry downstairs, and Abby quickly sorted through it and pulled out all my socks. In this moment, she is desperately trying to get me to take the socks from her. It's especially cute when she wears the socks on her arms.

Day 304 - Happy Halloween

I'm not really a big fan of Halloween... mostly out of lazyness. I wanted to get a good snapshot of one of the neighborhoods decorations, but by the time I remembered, most lights were out.

Day 303 - ER Visit

Early this morning I woke to Abby crying. She had rolled off of my bed and hit her lip on the bed rail on the way down to the floor. She had a nice size split right on the crease of her lip. It wasn't too bloody, but I was worried it needed stitches, so we took a trip to the ER just in case. Abby was really good for the doctor and nurses. In the end, no stitches.

Day 302 - Indulgence

Who doesn't appreciate a little Ben & Jerry's now and then. I haven't had Chocolate Fudge Brownie in long while... usually go for Peanut Butter Cup. The Chocolate Fudge Brownie didn't seem as good as it used to be, could be just me though.

Day 301 - Pit Stop

Today we traveled back home. We stopped in Winnamuca again to play in the park and eat dinner. The little playground is just her size. Though she loves a slide, she was more excited to go up and down the stairs. Abby has done so well these last couple of road trips. She only gets really upset around bedtime.

Day 300 - Front Facing

Tonight, Heather and I headed out to run a few errands. We took her van, so Abby had her first ride in a front facing car seat. She had a pretty great time, especially being able to watch the other kids in the car. She was giggling away.

Day 299 - Snow in the Valley

We woke up to snow on the ground here in the Utah Valley this morning. I think that it was the first snow of the season. The kids sure had a great time playing around. It warmed up pretty fast, so most of the snow didn't stick around.

Day 298 - Colored White

We were out running around in the rain in the late afternoon today. I was having a hard time getting a good shot, so I was experimenting with different lighting techniques and focusing. I ended up with this shot... I'd have to say this is one of my favorite photos so far.

Day 297 - Dutch Oven

Abby and I swung down to Oak City to hang out with my friend Julie and her family for the night. Dinner tonight was Dutch Oven... so was dessert! So absolutely delicious. It's been raining off and on, but Julie's husband was able to get a fire started and kept up.
